Ridge Preservation in infected site, Pedicled Buccal Fat Graft prior to Implantation in the Atrophic Posterior Maxilla
Comprehensive bone augmentation, including ridge preservation, vertical augmentation with autologous bone graft (OBG), and maxillary sinus augmentation, performed immediately after the removal of infected, failed implants in the posterior atrophic maxilla.

About this video
A patient suffered significant bone loss due to chronic infection around failed maxillary implants. Treatment included implant removal, thorough debridement of infected tissue, and bone augmentation comprising ridge preservation, maxillary sinus augmentation, and vertical augmentation with autologous bone graft (OBG) harvested from the mandibular ramus. Despite the pre-existing infection, successful healing and bone regeneration were achieved in a single procedure. Six months later, implants were placed, followed by implant uncovering six months post-implantation.

Implant Placement Lateral or Lingual to the Mandibular Canal
Implant Placement Lateral or Lingual to the Mandibular Canal
Implants are strategically positioned buccal or lingual to the neurovascular bundle, secured within the cortical bone at the base of the mandible.
